Matching the head angle of the animal in the scene that you choose is essential to making your finished art look realistic. Even a small difference in angle will drastically affect how the antlers look on the animal. Hold your camera at the animals eye level. Pointing the camera up at a mount or down on the antlers will have the wrong perspective. The nose & eyes must match the angle in the scene!
